FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD

Hi. I’m a nutritionist, food consultant and coach, and I’m here to help people fall in love with food again.

For far too long there’s been too much nitpicky negativity about what we eat. Food should be something we relish. It should be at the heart of our social lives and, as well as being absolutely god damn delicious, it should be nourishing. It should support us daily whether that means we are training for a marathon or chasing our kids around the beach. Whatever that looks like food should be right there, and it should be simple.

What’s good for you?

My clients are women who want to understand what eating well means for them. Good nutrition is different for all of us, so I give completely bespoke 121 advice and will show you how eating well for your body and lifestyle is achievable within your means. I have worked as nutritionist both before and after becoming a parent and wow are they different. I get it. I understand how priorities are change at both points in your life and how to build habits and nutrition goals to support them. I specifically work with women chasing their fitness dreams and fitting their training sessions in between school runs and swimming lessons. My double degree in nutrition and sports science means I have the understanding to support these goals.

Working with businesses

I also work with businesses of all sizes to deliver online seminars and in person workshops on a range of topics with the aim of motivating attendees to make changes to the eating habits and lifestyle. We cover everything from myth-busting, women’s health, food and mood and nutrition for the high performing executive to tips and tricks for quick meals at home and work. To compliment this, I also run private 121 clinics virtually or face to face where we can take a deeper dive into individual nutrition and provide bespoke solutions. On a project basis I also work with onsite catering teams and chefs to develop nutritious dishes for workplace restaurants, schools and nursery settings.

A fresh way of looking at food

The way I work often goes against the grain. I don’t agree with many of the current food trends, but neither do I bore people to death by droning on about the stuff we’ve all seen and heard time and time again. My advice is fresh but not faddy and backed by years of experience and study, which have helped me understand the kind of challenges you might face each day.

Before setting up The Food Boss I also spent a year running a national commercial catering contract for a FTSE 100 company. And the start of it all was a 2:1 BSc in Human Nutrition & Sport Science from London Metropolitan University. As well as my continuing professional development I have since furthered my career with Mac Nutrition Uni and completed my level 2 group fitness coaching qualification. This means I do the research so you don’t have to.

But don’t take my word for it…
